When we train, we train fascia! Yes, that involves movement in the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, but that’s all surrounded and permeated by fascia.



Fascia training redefines movement and alignment by specifically looking at bio-tensegrity. It is a total body training to improve dynamic skills including variability, unpredictability, speed, explosiveness, and flexibility. Compound movements that translate to real-life chores or activities. If this concept is new to you, it’s because fascia training is only being spoken about now.

What You’ll Get in the Manual


The WHY:

For far too long, weight-training has been focusing on muscle only, using mainly linear movements to target muscularity. Gym workouts can give you a great looking physique, but does it really make you strong? Does it really translate to physical strength in real-life situations?


The FASCIA:

Learn about the properties of fascia, including viscosity, elasticity, plasticity, and remodelling. Learn about why fascia is also knows as the B.A.R.S.


The BREAKDOWN:

The workouts are 4 days/week with rest days in between. We encourage active rest days in between of 30 minutes or more by doing light walking, cycling, swimming, stretching, hot/cold exposure, or if you have your own sport or competition to train for on those days. All days include working times and rest times backed by science, and all days include your pre-warm-up, warm-up, and cool downs.

 

The 4 working days include a Heavy Day to build strength, a Speed Day to build explosiveness, a Dynamic Day to improve variability, and a Yoga Day for proper recovery before it starts all over again!

 

Other Important Factors:

During this program, we also talk about bio-tensegrity, how to feel core bracing, proximal stiffness and distal force, when to use hot and cold exposure, other recovery methods like sleep & massage; and lastly, proper nutrition to fuel your workouts!
